Has your letter box suddenly become filled to overflowing with hardware catalouges?
Do you find overcome by the urge to purchase bulk packs loudly patterned Rio underpants?
Perhaps you’ve found yourself tempted by the allure of a novelty tie?
If you answered yes to any of these questions then you’ll also know that Fathers Day is just around the corner!
Yes folks, it’s that one day of the year when we are duty bound to laugh at their dad-jokes and allow them to criticize our driving.
Seriously though, its a great opportunity to spend some time with that special dad in your life and show them how much you love them – whether its your own dad, your father in law or the father of your children.
Now if you are one of those superbly organised people who has had their lunch reservations confirmed since June you can relax. Go look at a lol cat video or make a cup of tea.
However if you’re like me like me and have let the whole thing creep up on you a bit, here are five fabulous places you can go for father’s Day Lunch In Brisbane, that cater for pretty much any kind of Dad you can think of!

5. Laid Back Dad – Fiction Bar & Restaurant
Is you’re Dad is a laid back kind of bloke? Then you should definitely consider taking advantage of Brisbane’s beautiful spring weather and heading out to Fiction Bar at Raby Bay in Cleveland. As well as their standard brunch menu (which looks divine) they are also having a Big Aussie BBQ from 11.30am which features gourmet meats, seafood and salads. It’s a bit of a drive to get there, but for $35 per person I think it’s worth making it a Father’s Day day-trip!
